I check Spin's website every day, and when I checked it today I almost fell off my chair when I saw the latest Vampire Weekend news.
They decided to stream their whole sophomore album, Contra, on their myspace (myspace.com/vampireweekend) a week before it's supposed to be released (january 12).
I obviously had to give it a listen, and like I already stated, it's so f*cking good.
It sounds alot like their previous album, but Ezra got even more wittier, and the sound is more Carribeanne as opposed to African sounding.
It's a great album, and I'm definitely buying it (maybe on vinyl...hmmmm.)
I advise everyone to give it a listen.
And if you like it, please BUY the album, do not be cheap.

Jack White eh??? Isn't he the guy that was married to one of the overrated actress of our day? Never listened to him but if you say he's f'n talented then I will take your word for it. After all you ARE Dale's child....lol
